Back To the Future’s DeLorean Revealed In Incredible New LEGO Set

LEGO has announced that a DeLorean time machine set from Back to the Future is coming on April 1. The three-in-one set allows owners to choose which version of the DeLorean to build from any of the three Back to the Future films, LEGO announced on its website.

Retailing at $169.99. the set includes 1,872 pieces and when built is 11cm tall, 35cm long, and 19cm wide. It also comes with Doc Brown and Marty McFly mini-figures, a light-up flux capacitor, moveable gull-wing doors, and wheels that fold down for flight mode.

LEGO also promised a number of Back to the Future Easter eggs including Marty’s hoverboard in the trunk, dates printed on the dashboard pieces, and the Mr. Fusion device.

The DeLorean, set 10300, is available to pre-order on the official LEGO website. It’s not the company’s first attempt at a Back to the Future DeLorean, though admittedly this one looks a lot better than its 401 piece set from 2013.

This isn’t the only version of the iconic car returning this year, either, as the DeLorean Motor Company announced in February that it would be releasing a new electric car.

The LEGO company has partnered with a number of iconic entertainment franchises recently. It recently announced that Princess Peach was joining the LEGO Mario universe while last month it revealed a Horizon: Forbidden West Tallneck set.
