UK Daily Deals: Score an Xbox Series S for Just £168 Right Now
Amazon has got a great deal on the Xbox Series S at the moment, with the open box but ‘like new’ console being available for just £167.34 via Amazon Warehouse. You’ll need to click on the ‘buy used’ section of the listing, but the deal is still available at the time of writing. This is likely just a selection of returns Amazon has had but found no issues with the console itself, but they have to sell it at a discount because of the open box. Considering the Series S usually sets you back £250, and this thing can play Starfield, that’s an incredible deal for a current-gen console.

Xbox Series S for Just £167.34 (was £249.99)
This is a great deal and well worth considering if you haven’t got an Xbox yet, or you’re looking for a cheap alternative to play Starfield in a couple of months. The Series S will run Starfield at a locked 1440p 30fps so you’re getting a pretty great experience from such a cheap and easy to use console. There’s likely also limited stock, however, so we’d recommend placing your order ASAP to avoid disapointment, it’s unlikely we’ll see such a good deal on the Series S again for while.
Prime Members: Get 3-Months of Audible for Free
One of our favourite Audible deals is back and ready for Amazon Prime Day 2023. Prime members can 3-months of Audible for free from now, all way up until after the end of Prime Day on July 12. 3-months would normally put you back almost £24, so getting this for free instead is an absolute bargain. Just so you know, you’ll need a Prime membership to take advantage of this deal, and it’s also only for new Audible members.
Save Up to 40% on NordPass Password Manager (AD)
This is an awesome deal and well worth considering if you haven’t secured your online security with a password manager. We highly recommend getting a password manager in 2023, especially with how much of our valuable data is now stored online. NordPass is our manager of choice, and the 2-year premium plan is down to £35.76 at the moment, equivalent to £1.49/month.

How to Avoid Xbox Game Pass Price Increase (UK)
There isn’t an easy solution to this price increase news, as however you choose to tackle it it’s going to cost you money (unless you cancel your subscription of course). If you don’t want to lose Game Pass, but also don’t like the idea of your subscription going up in price, then your best course of action is to lock in your current subscription for as long as possible.
The max you can stack Game Pass to is 36-months, so you could essentially keep piling on the 3-Month subscriptions at a maximum of 12 times. This isn’t cheap at £298.20 in total (with the deal listed above). But, compare to that to the new cost of Game Pass Ultimate at £12.99 for 36-months: £467.64, and in total you’re saving £169.44 on your subscription for the next three years. Note, this is just an example of the maximum savings available here, not many of us have got £300 to just burn on Game Pass right here and now.
But it’s definitely still food for thought, and even if you just buy a couple of extra Game Pass codes for safe keeping, you’re doing your future self a massive favour. Plus, if you’re new to Xbox Game Pass, you can just buy a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership for £39.85 and then join Game Pass; boom it converts 1:1 so you’re getting an excellent headstart already.
Best Xbox Series X Deals in the UK
Here’s another quick deal in case you haven’t secured yourself an Xbox Series X just yet. Prices are going up from August 1, so even this bundle will cost more when the time rolls around. With the £20 price increase, Xbox Series X consoles will cost £479.99 RRP, while the Forza bundle will likely jump to £509.99 RRP. So right now, this looks like an excellent deal vs what it’s going to cost in a matter of weeks.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder Preorders Down to £42.85
Nintendo announced the brand new 2D Mario platformer during the latest Nintendo Direct. Wonder will feature a new Elephant power-up, local multiplayer, talking flowers, and Daisy as a playable character. Nintendo is calling this the first brand-new sidescrolling Mario game in over ten years. For more, check out everything announced at today’s Nintendo Direct.

If you were considering getting the Starfield Xbox Controller, it’s now available at most retailers in the UK. But, Amazon has dropped it down to just £64.95, which is over £5 off the original list price. This isn’t a massive saving, but it’s definitely a great deal if you were already teetering on whether or not the grab the limited edition gamepad.
