Early Amazon Prime Day Deal: Get 4 Free Months of Amazon Music Unlimited

Amazon Prime Day lands on July 11 and there’s always an Amazon Music Unlimited promotion that starts a few weeks earlier. This year is no different. Starting now, Prime members can get 4 months of free Amazon Music Unlimited. This subscription normally costs $10.99 per month for non-Prime members and $8.99 per month for Prime members. Only new subscribers are eligible. You’ll need to log into your Amazon Prime account to see this deal. If you’re not sure whether or not you’re eligible, simply click on the link; if you see the promo then you’re eligible.

Early Prime Day Deal: 4 Free Months of Amazon Music Unlimited

Amazon Music Unlimited is a subscription-based music streaming service similar to Spotify and Pandora. You’ll have access to nearly 100 million songs and even better, you’ll be able to listen to them all completely ad-free. I’ve subscribed to the Amazon Music platform for nearly a decade, and I can’t recall a single time I sat through any kind of ad. There are thousands of pre-mixed playlists and stations to choose from, but you are completely allowed to pick your own songs and create your own playlists.

In terms of audio quality, just about every song is available in lossless HD. About 10 million songs are also available in lossless UltraHD, which offers better than CD audio (up to 24 bit, 192 kHz) and more than 10 times the bitrate of standard definition streaming services. Amazon is also offering an increasing number of songs that support Dolby Atmos and 360 Reality Audio. Just make sure your audio equipment is up to snuff.

Amazon Music Unlimited works seamlessly on Echo devices and Fire TVs, of course, but it’s also available on mobile devices through the Amazon Music app or through any Alexa compatible electronics. I play Amazon Music Unlimited through the app on my iPhone 14, and I can even stream the audio to my Airplay-compatible speakers.

On any given day, new subscribers are eligible for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited. A three to four month trial only happens 2-3 times per year. It’s already happened once in February, and there’s always one that’s tied to Amazon Prime Day (which is this deal right here). If you forego this deal, you’ll probably have to wait until Black Friday for your final shot at it this year.
