gamescom 2023 is here! Like last year, gamescom will be filled with gaming reveals, news, demos, cosplay looks, interviews, and so much more. Many big attendees will be there this year, including Nintendo and Xbox. What’s more, IGN will be an official media partner of gamescom studio.
This guide will provide everything you need to know to watch gamescom and IGN’s biggest events within, including when each event starts, a list of places you can stream them live with us, and what you can expect to see at gamescom 2023.

gamescom 2023 Highlights So Far
Whether you care about gameplay footage and trailers or you want to get the latest announcements from your favorite studio, there’s going to be some of everything at gamescom this year. We will be giving away 400+ game codes throughout the event*, so you’ll definitely want to tune in! We’ll also be hosting the annual Award show on Friday, August 25, as well as the gamescom Cosplay Contest on Sunday, August 27, which is always a fun time.

What is gamescom?
gamescom is one of the world’s largest events for computer and video games and features some of the biggest game announcements and reveals of the year. Last year, there were 13 million views from gamescom’s Twitch and YouTube streams alone. gamescom represents the entire spectrum of the gaming community; from indie to triple A, action, family, single-player or multiplayer games.
