This year, Labor Day lands on Monday, September 4th, with the long holiday weekend kicking off on Friday, September 1st. Most Labor Day sales will kick off the week before on Monday, August 28.
Do Labor Day sales go past Labor Day?
Most holiday sales outside Amazon Prime Day extend their sales past the actual holiday, and we expect that will happen with Labor Day – depending on the category. If you’re shopping for appliances, mattresses, and furniture, most Labor Day sales will go past Labor Day, with deals extended for the following week. If you’ve spotted a record-low price on a TV, laptop, or Apple device, we recommend snagging up the offer on Labor Day, as most offers will expire.
