The 34″ Dell S3422DWG Is One of the Best Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitors Under $400
Today Dell is offering its gaming-oriented 34″ Dell S3422DWG ultra-wide gaming monitor for only $3479.99. That’s a pretty hefty price drop from its original $500 MSRP. It’s easily one of the best ultra-wide monitors you can get for under $400 and has an excellent warranty.
34″ Dell S3422DWG 3440×1440 Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor for Only $349.99
The Dell S3422DWG is one of the best 34″ ultra-wide gaming monitors on the market. It sports an ultra-wide 3440×1440 16:10 resolution and an 1800R curve. 1440p resolution is still the sweet spot when you have to compromise between image quality and performance. A 1440p display, especially in the 34″ screen size, is more than sharp enough to make your games look beautiful, but it also won’t tax your system nearly as heavily as a true 4K display. You can pair it with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or equivalent card and that will give you plenty of power to spare for max graphic settings or ultra high framerates.
The Dell S3422DWG utilizes a VA panel, which boasts a 1ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 90% DCI-P3 color coverage. It’s not officially G-SYNC compatible, although we have personally tested it and G-SYNC does indeed run fine on this monitor (as is usually the case with most gaming monitors these days).
You also get an industry best 3 year warranty (most monitors only come with a 1 year warranty). It’s also eligible for Dell’s Premium Panel Exchange, which allows you to get a free panel replacement during the warranty even if only one bright pixel is found.
