Uzumaki has gotten me curious about horror anime. Which ones should I start out with?

A supernatural curse involving spirals. A secret at the very bottom of an isolated town. A cosmic horror unlike any other. While Junji Ito’s manga of the same name and story is truly a sight to behold (and a source of nightmares for many, many people), the anime series, which has a %100 Rotten Tomatoes score (as of this writing), finally seems to be a win for Ito after his self-titled Collection anthology and Japanese Tales of the Macabre were given average reviews by critics and fans alike. The fanfare that Uzumaki has already received has really motivated me to check out some horror-based anime. But here’s the catch: the one and only anime of this kind that I’ve checked out so far is Requiem From the Darkness on Prime Video (which I really enjoyed). Any other recommendations that go along with this series?
