Anime NYC 2024: Toshio Furukawa Talks With Anime Herald

Director Oshii asked me to be natural as much as possible. Some of the characters I play have to overact. Oshii said, “No, that’s too much.” He wanted natural human face-to-face conversation. That was my characterization in that series.
